Happy February!
I was going to say Happy New Year but it is already February! So Happy Valentine's Day instead. I hope the new year has been proven to be good for you so far. I have been busily making beautiful pieces and adding new designs to my lines. I can't wait to share all of these lovely things with you soon. Here are your next few chances to catch up with me in person. First up: |
|
The Omni Grove Park Inn, Asheville, NC
Friday, Feb 19, 1pm-6pm
Saturday, Feb 20, 12pm-6pm
Sunday, Feb 21, 11am-4pm
Vanderbilt Wing, Level 8
This is a wonderful conference showcasing the Arts and Crafts Movement. There are seminars and tours of local arts & crafts homes as well as an antique show, a book fair and a contemporary craftsperson show, which is where my work will be showcased. I am so excited and honored to be part of the Arts & Crafts community and thrilled to be at the Grove Park Inn.
You do not have to attend the conference to come and enjoy the antiques, the books or the craftspeople. One $10 will cover all three days. The wonderful organizers have offered me ten free tickets to give to my special customers, friends and family. A few of them are already spoken for but I have more to give away. Please send me an email at amy@amybrandenburg.com and I will set one aside for you. No more than 2 per person please, and first come first served. I need to turn in my list of names by February 15th so don't delay. |

I am excited to be a part of this show. Even though I don't know too many folks in Lexington, this should be a really good quality show with terrific artists. If you are there or can get there I am sure it will be worth your time. |

This month's featured piece is a stylized iris in a frame. It's a preview of a new Arts & Crafts style piece that will make it's debut at the conference this month. Be sure to come by and see it in person: |

Classes & Workshops
As usual I am scheduling classes on an "as needed" basis. April will be a fairly open time without a lot of shows and would be a good time to schedule a class with me. Please send me an email or contact me through the website and let me know your interests in metal clay and when you would like to get together for a class.
